When we see the RV at break or lunch time, our pace picks up a bit, a chance to rest weary feet and have a cup of tea.
When Bishop and Marcia rose this morning, they had visitors- two lady bugs. Bishop tells us that in the Celtic tradition, lady bugs are a sign of resurrection, a wonderful way to start our day.
Today as we began with prayer, Bishop asked "is this Thursday?" While one day passes into the next, at each dawning, we are anxious to get on the road.
We remain motivated by the goal of the journey as it becomes ever more significant. And of course, by Marcia's lunch, soup and today's grilled cheese.
Deborah Murray joined us again today from morning break. We walked most of the day in a light rain.
Interesting that as we joined Marcia and Jeff for the morning break, the rain simply poured down. As we prepared to continue the journey, the rain almost stopped and then this afternoon, the sun came out. Prayer works.
