Day started in the sun (who says it rains all the time).
Mid-day break with Marcia and Jeff a happy time for legs and feet.
After lunch, rain until our afternoon break and then rain stopped.
So far we have had pretty good weather. The weather dance at the Sunday celebration is working. Craig Murray says Thursday is the meanest weather this week so we will see. Bishop still setting the pace although at days end today he had slowed a bit. But we walk and we reflect and we observe nature.
Deborah Murray joined us mid afternoon and walked with us until overnight stop.
We walked at 5.2 km this morning, 4.9 this afternoon so did 30km in about 6 hours of walking. Good pace, faster than either of us had predicted. Bishop plans to soak his feet tonight.
Our day begins and ends with prayer and reflection on the wonders of Creation and the work of the Creator. And what we have learned from our first nations friends has been of great help as we walk, observe and reflect.
The journey continues; today was a test of our physical stamina and happily, we passed the test.
Another issue with the RV (rear end pop out malfunctioning) and while it has frustrated Jeff, it has relieved the boredom of waiting for us to catch up.
Jeff has dealt with Big Boys successfully (we will be getting a replacement somewhere down the road).
No bears, no cougars, no rural dogs, cars give us room and shoulders are wider than they look from a car.
We are doing well, your prayers are working. best wishes to all.
